Mrs. Dorothy Willene Mothershed Hall, 81, died Monday, July 23, 2007, at a Santa Rosa County hospital. She was a native of Atmore and a long time resident of Davisville. She attended the Baptist church and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Howard Hall; and two daughters, Wanda Morrow and Linda Hall.
She is survived by sons, Dempsey Hall and Charles Hall, both of Davisville, and Eugene Hall of Enon, Fla.; seven daughters, Margie Chunn of Atmore, Ruby Waller of Brewton, Lynn Smith of Hartsford, Debbie Youngblood of Jay, Fla., Elizabeth Conway of Little Rock, Missie Stiles of Davisville and Jana Hartley of Perdido; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four brothers, Fred Mothershed, Rev. Gladyn Mothershead, Carl Mothershed and W. D. Mothershed, all of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 25, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Henry officiating. Burial followed at Pinebarren Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Phillip Moors, Corey Powell, Jeremy McBride, Wesley Woodriff, Shane Conway, David Chunn and Tony Chunn.
