Two months of summer work have not solidified the six starting spots in the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers volleyball lineup for the upcoming season.
On the flip side, this week's three-day T.R. Miller Team camp probably will go a long way in that direction.
The Lady Tigers begin camp Tuesday and will have two three-hour workout sessions through Thursday.
This year's camp is probably even more important than in recent years. For starters, White is beginning his first season as the Lady Tigers head coach although he worked as an assistant coach for preceding coach Sharon Peacock and served as the Brewton Middle School coach the last two seasons.
Perhaps an even bigger area of importance for the camp is the Lady Tigers' expected youth for the upcoming season.
The T.R. Miller coach said he has received a positive response from his players so far.
White said the team camp will follow a similar routine to the one Peacock has used in the past.
The camp will be T.R. Miller's last summer work before official practice kicks off Aug. 6.
