Armory to host wrestling

Wrestling fans will have an opportunity to witness the athletic abilities of wrestlers when Dirty South Professional Wrestling brings their show to the National Guard Armory in Brewton Saturday night. Along with an evening of entertainment, attendees will be helping to support the Autism Society of the Panhandle, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the group. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with Bell time at 8 p.m.
The program is being dubbed as &#8220A Midsummer Night's Wrestling” and will include a 15-man Texas Whirlwind Battle Royal. Two former wrestlers will make a special appearance. Old School Wrestling CEO Chief Ironclaw and Gulf Coast Wrestling legend, Don Fargo will greet the crowd during the event.
The three-hour event will culminate in the crowning of a new DSPW heavyweight champion. The champion will defend the title in an event set for Sept. 1. Four tag-team matches and six single matches are on the line-up for the event Saturday evening.
On the card for the evening are Jester McCain, American Eagle, Turbo Ted, Craig Geezee, Nathan Crown, Mikey Webb, Corporal Kage USMC, Josh McCain. Being introduced at the event will be Gina Galento and Brutal Joe Gibson. A special event will feature the Canadian superstar, Aeon Flexx with his manager, Seymore Cash.
Tickets will be $6 for children 12 and under. Adult tickets are $10 each with children under four admitted free.
