Raines plays Elite baseball

Former T.R. Miller infielder Baxley Raines spent his summer playing with the Dynamic Elite baseball team based in Pace, Fla.
Dynamic Elite mainly consists of players from the Florida panhandle who have signed to play at the college level, including Adam Bryant of Pace High School and Shane Ikner from Est Florida Tech, who will join Raines at Troy University this fall.
The team finished its schedule, which consists of tournaments in Florida, Alabama and Georgia, with a tournament championship at the University of West Florida.
Raines, who hit lead off most of the summer, batted .417 with 15 RBIs, 10 doubles, two triples and two homeruns. Raines also had 19 stolen bases and 36 runs scored.
The Dynamic Elite finished the summer with the 28-8 record after competing with teams from across the United States.
