Mr. Cecil S. Jones Jr., 83, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at a Melbourne medical facility. He was a native of Brewton and a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., before moving to Melbourne. He was a retired air traffic manager with the FFA and attended First Baptist Church of Melbourne.
He is survived by his wife, Ella Mae Jones of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; a son, Richard Owens Jones of Melbourne Beach; a daughter, Cecilia Jones Coultas of Houston, Texas; a brother, Frank E. Jones of Brewton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial funeral services will be held, Sunday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Melbourne with Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home of Melbourne directing.
