Eva Pearl Griffis, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, in a Mobile assisted living facility. She was a native of Brewton and had resided in Mobile for the past 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Griffis; and a son, Leon Griffis.
She is survived by a son, Randy (Karen) Griffis of Mobile; a daughter-in-law, Frances Griffis Campbell of Saraland; two brothers, Everette Watson of East Brewton, and J.T. Watson of Brewton; a sister, Pauline Savage of Opp; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral with the Rev. Donald E. Watson officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
