Mrs. Hazel Faye Gillis Langham, 83, of Rosemary Avenue, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at a Jay, Fla. hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County, Ala. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Gillis Earl (Patricia) Langham of Semmes, and William Michael (Lynda) Langham of Theodore; three daughters, Susan (Lane) Merchant of Daphne, and Sherry (Tony) McCall and Kay Parr, both of Brewton; a sister, Jane Sightler of Andalusia; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. until noon at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8 at noon at Williams Memorial Chapel Home with Minister Clifford Dixon, the Rev. Chad Cooper and Speaker Debbie Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Ryan Parr, Kevin Langham, Keith Cooper, Bill Gillis, Joe Frank Williams, Richie Evans, Tim Reeves and Randy Pebworth.
