Former T.R. Miller Tiger Laine Lucas is among the final two signings for next season’s Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks basketball recruiting class.
The 6-0, 160-pound Lucas was a key contributor to T.R. Miller teams that won Class 3A Area 1 Tournament crowns in 2004 and 2005. The 2005 Tigers squad also advanced to the regional tournament.
Lucas, a 2006 T.R. Miller graduate, averaged five points and 10 rebounds a game as a senior. Lucas earned a spot on the 2005 T.R. Miller Holiday Tournament Team.
The Warhawks completed their recruiting class with the signing of Rico McMillon, a 6-2, 170-pound guard from West Gadsden Fla., which is located just outside of Tallahassee. McMillon is a transfer from Chipola College where he redshirted last season.
