Mr. Charlie Fred Stallworth, 67, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, in a Pensacola nursing home. He was a native of Conecuh County, a truck driver and a member of New Centennial Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Brown and Commie Stallworth; his daughter, Patricia Jackson; his sons, William and Tony Stallworth; and two brothers, Connie Earl and Henry George Stallworth.
He is survived by a son, Levon Jackson of Monroeville; a daughter, Charlene (Edwin) Dortch of Evergreen; four brothers, Willie Frank (Dorothy) Stallworth of Brewton, John W. (Mandy) Brown and James (Naomi) Brown Jr., both of Huntington, N.Y., and Dwight Biggs of Biloxi, Miss.; four sisters, Eula (Dick) Stallworth of Beatrice, Mildred B. (Johnny) Cunningham and Deborah B. (Ernie) Capers, both of Miami, Fla., and Rhonza Williams of Belleville; one uncle, Clarence (Mazie) Cobb of Mobile; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Bobby Rae and Sequoia; four great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at New Centennial Baptist Church in Repton with the Rev. Johnathon Townsend and the Rev. Freddie Banks officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
