Mrs. Bonnie C. George, 65, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. She was a native of Brewton, and had been a resident of Milton for the past 15 years, coming from Pensacola. She worked as an administrative secretary for the Escambia County, Florida School District. She was a member of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne George of Milton; a son, Gregory Wayne (Jennifer Lynn) George of Fort Mills, S.C.; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Cole of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Johnny B. Graves of Pensacola; a sister, Eula D. Mathis of Cantonment, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 27, at 11 a.m. at Hall's Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl Gallups officiating. Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery with Cravers Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were John Mathis, Clyde Mathis, Buddy Graves, Larry Ingram, Jeff Robbins and Earl Graves.
