Mrs. Lottie Mae Kent Powell, 73, of Snowden Street, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, in a Mobile hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Conecuh County and a long-time resident of Escambia County, was a member of East Brewton Church of God and a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Powell (Andrew) Travis of Mobile; a sister, Stella Kent (Bernard Coleman) Hobbs of East Brewton; two grandchildren, Zack Travis and Zoe Travis; two nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, Aug. 29, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Hudson and the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
