University of Mobile student Matthew Fraser of Brewton was selected as a residential assistant at the Avery Woods Cottages for the 2007-2008 school year at the private, Baptist-affiliated university. Residential assistants plan activities, build community and are liaisons between students and administration.
Fraser, the son of William and Susan Fraser of Brewton, is a senior majoring in theology at UM. The 2005 graduate of T.R. Miller High School is a member of Dayspring Baptist Church in Mobile.
