Mr. Danny Sanders, 55, died Aug. 28, 2007, at a Pensacola hospital. He was a native of Pensacola and a resident of Pollard for the past 19 years. He was a retired employee from Jefferson-Smurfit Corporation and attended the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linnie Sanders of Pollard; two sons, Christopher Lee Sanders of Pensacola, Fla. and Matthew Ray Sanders of Pollard; his father and stepmother, Daniel and Ernestine Sanders of Cleveland, Tenn.; his mother, Ella Mae Lynch of Arizona; his brother, Ronald Sanders of Alabama; his sister, Rita Nobles of Milton, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Reagan Moore, Riley Moore, and Ryan Sanders
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Kimmons officiating. Burial followed at Magnolia Evergreen Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Marion Kendrick, Johnny Sturdivant, Corey Brown, Richard Merchant, Billy Merchant and Kevin Merchant.
