Mr. Thomas Albert Crook, 80, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, in a Snellville, Ga. medical facility after a brief illness. He was a native of Brewton and a long-time resident of Florida before moving to Georgia. He was retired as a mechanic from Monsanto with 29 years of service. He was a member of Blue Ridge Arts Association and Creek Indian Sub Chief Grey Eagle for Florida, Alabama, Misissippi, and Georgia,
He is survived by a son, Thomas M. Crook of Loganville, Ga.; two daughters, Jayne West of Carrabelle, Fla. and Helen Breler of Duluth; a sister, Katie Foster of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Ridgeway officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
