Mr. Clarence Donald &#8220C.D.” Faulk, 83, of North Pine St., died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Crowley, La., and a former resident of New Orleans, La. before moving to Brewton in 1973. He was a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church, a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II, a member of the American Legion, and a retired construction supervisor from Exxon with 40 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Dionne Faulk of Brewton; a son, Gerald (Sharyl) Faulk of Lafayette, La.; a daughter, Brenda Faulk Kern of Brewton; a brother, Gene Faulk, Sr. of New Iberia, La.; a sister, Betty Faulk (Holland) Borel of Jeanerette, La.; four grandchildren, Scotty (Leslie) Kern, Sammie Kern (Raymond) Jamieson, Shelley (Tim) Carnahan, and Stacey (Robert) Britton.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Maurice Catholic Church with Father Adrian Cook officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
