Brewton
Mrs. Jeanette Catrett Thomas, 84, of Alco Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Columbus, Ga. before moving to Brewton in 1983. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Roy Thomas Sr. of Brewton; three sons, Phillip Thomas of Pensacola, and Dale Roy Thomas Jr. and Claude Thomas, both of Brewton; two daughters, Sally Thomas Freeman and Erica Thomas Sexton, both of Brewton; a brother, Eugene Catrett of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Judy Bullard of Columbus; and two grandchildren, Caleb H. Sexton of Brewton and Crystal Thomas of Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Dewitt Allen officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
