BMS volleyball gets first loss

After winning game one against Earnest Ward, the Brewton Middle School Tigers lost the next three games to suffer their first loss of the season.
The Tigers (4-1) won game one 26-24 before losing 25-27, 16-25, and 22-25.
After falling behind in game one 19-23, Miranda McNamara brought back the Tigers to a 23-23 tie thanks to her serving and a Laurel Billy kill.
After taking a 25-24 lead, Billy added the last point for the Tigers in her serve as the Tigers took game one 26-24.
The Tigers let game two slip away after taking a 24-21 victory before Earnest Ward tied the game at 25-25 before taking the game at 27-25.
Game three was all Earnest Ward as the Tigers never led after an early 1-1 tie. EW closed out the match and take the 3-1 win as they took game three 25-22.
Brewton will be back in action Thursday at Jay. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
