After hanging tough against Thomasville before suffering a 42-20 loss Friday night, W.S. Neal will look to get back on the winning track this Friday night when they take on the Opp Bobcats in East Brewton.
W.S. Neal (2-2, 1-2 Class 4A region 1) just could not get anything on offensive established last week according to head coach Blaine Hathcock.
Opp (2-2, 1-2 in Class 4A region 2) is coming off a 34-19 loss to Daleville on Friday. Coached by former T.R. Miller assistant Jack Whigham, Opp has already matched its win totals from the past two years.
One of those starters that returns on offense for the Bobcats is quarterback Cody Hall (6-200 lb. sr.)
Albert Wilson (5-10, 140 lb. sr.) has made some key catches for the Bobcats on offense and is also a factor or defense along with Chris Carleton on defense.
Hathcock said the biggest thing this week for his team is to sustain something on offense.
With this week being a non-region week, Hathcock says his team is in the same position as they were in last year.
Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at W.S. Neal stadium.
