Mr. Jimmy N. Hicks, 65, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, after an extended illness at his residence at The Trails apartment complex. He was a native and life-long resident of Brewton and was the manager of The Trails apartments. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Irwin Hicks of Brewton; two daughters, Wendy (Steve) Hanks of Brewton, and Robin Hicks of Big Sky, Mont.; a stepson, Michael Shane Bush of Monroeville; two brothers, Jerry Hicks of Brewton and James (Shelia) Hicks of East Brewton; a sister, Delane (Jim) Ross of McComb, Miss.; two grandsons, Heath Hanks and Jonah Hanks; one great-grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with High Priest Ray Langham officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
