Members of the Brewton Church of God in Christ on Sowell Road recently participated in &#8220Old Fashioned Day” at the church.
The annual event allows members and guests to dress in old fashioned attire and compete for top honors in the contest.
The winners for the 2007 event were Shirley Jones and the Rev. Eddie Smith.
Members and guests were treated to an old-fashioned coverd dish meal as well as other entertainment throughout the day.
The event was held under the direction of the church's new leader, the Rev. Elder Donald Pearson.
