TRM improves with victories

In a tri-match with Flomaton and Jackson Tuesday night, T.R. Miller improved their record to 12-6 on the season as they won twice.
Flomaton went 1-1, while Jackson went 0-2.
Miller defeated Flomaton 2-0 with scores of 25-11 and 25-18. In the game against Jackson, Miller went 2-0 as they won 25-10 and 25-6.
Flomaton defeated Jackson 25-12 in game one and lost 28-26 in game two. In game three, Flomaton won 15-6.
In Miller’s win over Flomaton in game one, Janel McCorvey had six service points in a row to make the Tiger lead 12-4 and then had six in a row to finish the game at 25-11.
In game two, Morgan Hubbard had seven service points and Rachel Bostic also had seven.
In game one against Jackson, Morgan Hubbard had six straight service points to take the score 7-3. Elizabeth Nelson then had seven in a row to extend the Miller lead to 17-7. Hubbard then reeled off five more to make it a 25-10 win.
In game two, Leigh Margaret Bostic and Rachel Bostic had five service points each as Nelson added four.
Miller improved their record Thursday night to 13-6 as they posted a 3-0 win over Clarke County.
In game one, Miller won 25-18 courtesy of seven service points and six from Rachel Bostic. Michal Hubbard added five for the win.
In game two, the Tigers won 25-15. With Miller up 12-7, Elizabeth Nelson had seven straight service points to make it a 19-7 lead as Miller went on for the win.
In game three, Nelson, Morgan Hubbard, and Janel McCorvey had five service points each as Miller won 26-24.
The JV team improved their record to 11-3 as they also defeated Clarke County by a score of 2-1.
In game one, Emily Waters, Taylor Guthrie and Allison Reid had four service points each as T.R. Miller lost 25-20.
In game two, Madison Floyd added six service points as Waters and Reid had five as Miller won 25-21.
Miller was able to win game three and take the match as Madison Floyd added five service points and Teralyn Moore had four to notch a 15-7 win.
