W.S. Neal takes on another key region opponent Friday — but this time at home as the Eagles play Jackson.
W.S. Neal and T.R. Miller — tied in the region standings — swap opponents this week, with the Blue Eagles taking on Jackson.
W.S. Neal (4-3 overall, 3-2 class 4A region 1) is coming off a 20-6 region victory over the Hillcrest Jaguars. Jackson (2-5 overall, 2-3 class 4A region 1) is coming off a last-minute defeat by T.R. Miller Friday night 27-26.
W.S. Neal coach Blaine Hathcock said Friday night’s win for his team was a good one for his team.
Jackson is led by two good running backs in Andrew Ezell (5-10, 180 lb., sr.) and Damien Bracy (5-8, 160 lb. soph.)
Hathcock also complimented Jackson’s wide receivers.
While the win last week was a key victory for his squad, this week also proves to be key.
W.S. Neal and Jackson will square off at 7 p.m. at W.S. Neal Stadium in East Brewton.
