The T.R. Miller Lady Tiger volleyball team advanced to regional play this weekend in Opp and suffered a 3-0 defeat by St. James and ended their season.
The Lady Tigers lost 25-18, 25-18, and 25-15 in game three.
In game one, Natalie Neal and Morgan Hubbard had three service points to lead Miller. Miller was able to get within 15-10 and 23-18, but could not string together any points before falling.
In game two, Hubbard had three service points as the game was 16-15 before St. James scored five straight to make the score 21-16. Miller was able to get as close as 21-18 before falling.
In game three, the game stayed close most of the way before St. James pulled away and Miller could not get any closer as the Tigers lost 25-15 and ended their season with a 16-8 overall record.
