Mrs. Stephanie Nicole Robinson, 24, and her unborn child, Ansley Grace Smith, died on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, in Burnt Corn. She was a native of Milton, Fla., and a resident of Evergreen. She graduated from Evergreen High School and attended T.R. Miller High School during her junior high school days. She attended the Monroeville Church of the Nazarene and Glory Hill Holiness Church in Appleton. She was employed by Gerber Children’s Wear in Evergreen and was a coordinator for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Gibson and her step-grandfather, Nick Easterling.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Smith of Evergreen; her son, Jaxson Smith of Evergreen; her mother and stepfather, Robin Hamrac and Chris Hamrac of Evergreen; her father and stepmother, Steve Robinson and Lisa Robinson of Brewton; a brother, Steven Robinson of Brewton; two stepbrothers, Robert Lowery and Charlie Chavers, both of Brewton; a stepsister, Elizabeth Hamrac of Mobile; her grandparents, Marion and Mavis Robinson of Repton and Jennie Gibson of Castleberry; her step-grandparents, Willis and Ernestine Tatum of Evergreen and Nella Easterling of Brewton; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Sharon Smith of Excel; and a special friend, Beth McKenzie of Evergreen.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackson Knight and the Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial followed at Monroe Chapel Cemetery in Frisco City.
