Mr. Edward Mack “Ed Mack” Thomas, 61, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at his residence on Shadow Hill Drive, after an extended illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County, Ala. He was of the Holiness faith and a farmer/truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Thomas Jr., his daughter, Kristle Thomas; and his grandmother, Creasy Byrd Thomas.
He is survived by his mother, Annie Laura Thomas of Brewton; his wife, Pam Baker Thomas of Brewton; a son, Edward Jason Thomas of Brewton; a step-daughter, April Renee Watson of Brewton; two brothers, Roy (Paula) Thomas of Jay, Fla., and Mike (Gina) Thomas of Brewton; and a sister, JoAnn Thomas Steele of Brewton.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Cosey and the Rev. Fred White officiating. Burial will follow at Edendale Holiness Church Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
