Mrs. Willa Lois Abrams Jackson, 81, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007. She was a native of Butler County, where she taught in the Butler County School System and had been a nurse at Westgate Village Nursing Home, where she retired twice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde R. Jackson; a grandson, Chris Jordan; and a brother, Garland Abrams Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Earnest (Evelyn) Jordan of Panama City, Fla., and Charles (Luella) Jackson of Brewton; one granddaughter, Merlyn Jordan of Panama City; one grandson, Twan Jackson of Montgomery; a sister, Lorene (Arthur) Williams of Georgiana; two nieces; two nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Bergan Memorial Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
