Mrs. Mary Victoria Smith Wilson, 61, of Appleton Road, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and long-time resident of Escambia County, and was a former resident of Conecuh County. She was a homemaker and attended the New Haven Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Beatrice Smith; a son, Calvin Wilson; and two brothers, Bill and Jake Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Wilson of Castleberry; three daughters, Angie (Jeff) Wambles of Samson, LaTonya Wilson of Newnan, Ga., and LaWanda (Brian) Collier of Castleberry; four brothers, Steve Smith of Lowell, Mass., Milton Smith of Savannah, Ga., Buster Smith of Newnan, Ga., and David Smith of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Denise Bridges of Crestview, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. William Joyner officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery in the Appleton community with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
