Reception set to honor representative White

A special reception has been planned to honor former state Rep. F.P. “Skippy” White.
Dignitaries, family and friends are invited to join in the celebration set to honor White's 24 years of service in the state of Alabama's House of Representatives.
The event is being planned for Friday, Nov. 30, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the main courtroom at the Escambia County Courthouse on Belleville Avenue in Brewton.
White served as the state representative for District 66 which covers portions of Escambia and Baldwin counties.
White served on several committees during his tenure in the House of Representatives.
He has also served on numerous other councils and committees, including the Escambia County Children's Policy Council.
State officials, along with county and city government officials from across District 66 are expected to attend the reception.
The Friday reception event is open to the public.
