Mr. Bobby Ray Garrett, 64, of Rodgers Lane, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and former resident of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., before moving to Brewton. He was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran, avid fisherman, graduate of Reid State Technical College, and a retired repairman in the heating and cooling industry.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Rodgers Garrett of Brewton; a son, Steven Ray (Nell) Garrett of Dothan; a daughter, Leah (Cecil Ray) Ivey of Brewton; three sisters; and four grandchildren, Kayla Ivey, Michael Garrett, Christopher Garrett and Benjamin Garrett.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 11 a.m. at North Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael King officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
