Mrs. Meb Parker, 77, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, in a local nursing home. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Brewton area. She was a homemaker and was a member of Ridge Road Baptist Church, where she served as an organist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Parker.
She is survived by two sons, Danny (Jamie) Parker of Barnett's Crossroads, and Larry (Joanie) Parker of Africa; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom White officiating. Burial followed at Ridge Road Baptist Church Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Donny Parker, Kevin Parker, Rusty Roberson, James Roberson, Todd Levins and Joey Carter.
