Mrs. Eleanor Jewell “Jill” Brantley Nelson, 62, of Sand Flat Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, in a Mobile medical facility after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton. She was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her mother, Grace Brantley of Flomaton; two daughters, Lana (Michael) Tucker of Flomaton, and Kasey (Billy) Bossard of Perdido; two sisters, Fran Wood of Dothan, and Bobbie (Howard) Perry of Mobile; three grandchildren, Matthew Tucker, Blake Bossard and Eric Bossard.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bert Bounds and the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
