Mrs. Jennie Sims Baggett, 94, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at her residence in Repton. She was a native of Conecuh County and was a retired general merchant.
She is survived by two sons, James C. (Mildred) Baggett of Mobile, and John Kenneth (Janella) Baggett of Repton; three daughters, Louise B. (Billy) Biles and Jackie (Robert) Riley, both of Evergreen, and Doris B. Morris of Brewton; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Cope Funeral Home in Evergreen. Burial followed at Baggett's Chapel Cemetery in Belleville, with Cope Funeral Home directing.
