Mr. Jerry Wayne Smith, 55, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 in a Pensacola hospital. He was born in Brewton and had been a resident of Century for the past three years, coming from Walnut Hill, Fla. He was of the protestant faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey L. Smith.
He is survived by his aunt, Lossie Palmer of Evergreen, and a number of cousins.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, Dec. 6, at Welcome Cemetery with the Rev. Grady Palmer officiating and Craver's Funeral Home directing.
