Minutes could mean the difference between life and death. It could mean the difference between saving priceless family photos and losing everything to a fire.
The Brewton Fire Department is working to eliminate those possibilities by offering reflective signs for area residents.
Weaver said fire fighters at the Brewton department are working on reflective street signs that could make a world of difference for all emergency personnel.
The cost of the reflective house number to be installed on existing posts is $15. With numbers and posts for installation, the cost is $20.
The signs and posts can be ready for pickup in as little as 15 minutes, Weaver said.
