Mrs. Aloisia G. “Louise” Rodgers, 78, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Birmingham, after an extended illness. She was a native of Grafenau, Germany, and a long-time resident of Brewton, before moving to Hoover. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Rodgers, and a daughter, Ellen L. Davidson.
She is survived by a son, Robert “Bob” (Jackie) Rodgers of Shreveport, La., and a grandson, Robert B. Rodgers of Shreveport.
Graveside funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Father Adrian Cook officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
