Mrs. Carolyn Annette Collins Grice, 57, of Evergreen Avenue, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, in Brewton after a brief illness. She was a native of Americus, Ga., and a resident of Escambia County since 1975. She was a certified nursing assistant with Home Health Care and was a member of the Dogwood Hills Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her father, the Rev. Claude E. Collins, and a daughter, April Anne Grice.
She is survived by her mother, Anne Collins of Brewton; her husband, James Harvey Grice of Brewton; a brother, Daniel Claude Collins of Atlanta, Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Becky Meadows.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Quick, the Rev. Jeff Scurlock and the Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
