Mrs. Edith Janette Cowen, 79, of Montgomery and formerly of Andalusia, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, in a Montgomery hospital.
She is survived by her husband Elmer Cowen of Montgomery; a son, Joseph W. (Vickie) Cowen of Montgomery; two daughters, Lynette Eakin and Brenda Cowen, both of Montgomery; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Grace Brogden of Andalusia.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing.
