Mrs. Dorothy Juanita Dunsford Bell, 79, of Old Fannie Road, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at a Jay, Fla., hospital after an extended illness. She was a native and former resident of Jay before moving to Flomaton 62 years ago. She was a retired dental hygienist and was of the Protestant faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifton “J.C.” Bell and a son, Robert Adone Bell.
She is survived by two sons, Arnold (Meta) Bell of Flomaton, and James Alvin (Linda) Bell of Wenatchee, Wash.; one brother, Johnny Dunsford of Milton, Fla.; two sisters, Merle Boone of Brewton, Elwanda Andrews of Flomaton, and Elsie Bauldree of Jay; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 4, at 10 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilbur Graves officiating. Burial followed at Hollywood Cemetery in Flomaton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
