T.R. Miller B team defeats Flomaton

After having such a great start against Hillcrest and falling short last week, the T.R. Miller Tiger B team came back the next day and defeated the Flomaton Hurricane B team 53-32 Friday night at home.
Derrick Riley continued his offensive production for the Tigers and was the leading scorer for the Tigers in the game. He finished with 16 points in the win. Riley had 21 points against Hillcrest in the Tigers loss.
Terez Lane also added double figures for the Tigers as he finished with 15 points.
After holding a slim 7-4 lead at the end of the first quarter, the Tigers held a 24-17 lead at the half after outscoring Flomaton 17-13 in the second quarter.
The Tigers (2-3) only managed four points in the third quarter as Flomaton put an 11-spot up in the quarter to tie the game at 28-28 heading into the final quarter of play.
The Tigers returned the favor in the fourth by only giving up four points to the Hurricanes while scoring 25 points in the fourth to take the 53-32 win.
The Tigers were scheduled to play W.S. Neal at home on Tuesday afternoon and will play host to Hillcrest again on Friday.
Game time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday at T.R. Miller gymnasium.
