Mr. Earl Isiah Money, 83, of St. Nicholas Ave., died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and long-time resident of Castleberry and Evergreen before moving to Brewton. He was a retired truck driver with Albritton Gas and Oil Company, and had attended the Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church in the Cedar Creek community. He was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Money.
He is survived by a daughter, Jenny P. Brown of Brewton; a grandson, Kevin Brown of Brewton; and a great-grandson, Joseph Earl Brown of Seattle, Wash.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial followed in Weaver Cemetery on U.S. 29 with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
