Mrs. Edith Lillie Clayton Burnham, 90, of Appleton Road, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and former resident of Dothan, and a long-time resident of Escambia County. She was a homemaker and attended Pilgrim's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Burnham.
She is survived by two daughters, Patsy (Dudley) Owens and Judy (Harry) Dixon, both of Brewton; two grandchildren, Laura (Keith) McCormick of Deatsville and Joey (Jennifer) Dixon of Daphne; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 3, at 2:30 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Arron Smith, the Rev. Fred White and the Rev. Byrnes Pitts officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
