Former Warhawk McMullen gets honor

One of Jefferson Davis Community College's former basketball player Donovan McMullen was named Southern States Athletic Conference player of the week last week after a 16-point, 15- rebound and four-block performance.
McMullen, a 6-foot-10 senior center from Riverdale, Ga., is a standout at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga.
This season, McMullen is averaging 5.8 points, along with team bests of 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots per game. He presently ranks third in the conference in blocked shots and sixth in total rebounds.
The Eagles are currently 4-17 overall and 2-8 in SSAC play.
McMullen played at JDCC from 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 and played 60 games for the Warhawks. He averaged 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2.5 points for the Warhawks.
