It's that time of year again - cold and flu season. And like many communities across the state, Brewton has been hit by the flu. While the disease isn't creating an epidemic, it is spreading among co-workers, students and families.
It's not too late to get a flu shot, although for the best protection you should have had one weeks ago.
But there are also a number of other precautions people can take if they want to stay away from the disease.
Here's what the Centers for Disease Control recommends:
