Ticket holders in the East Escambia Chapter of the American Red Cross log cabin drawing will have to wait a little while longer to find out if they are a winner.
The drawing, originally planned for Valentine's Day, has been delayed, according to Red Cross Chapter director Rogene Martin.
Although a drawing to determine the winner of the log cabin will not be held as scheduled, a Valentine's Day basket will be given away on the scheduled drawing date.
Martin said tickets for the log cabin will remain available until the rescheduled drawing date of March 21.
Those who had previously purchased tickets from board members of the Red Cross Chapter, should hang on to those tickets, Martin said.
Although a ticket holder does not have to be present in order to win the cabin, anyone wanting to be present for the drawing is invited to be present.
The East Escambia (Brewton) Chapter of the American Red Cross is located on Douglas Avenue adjacent to Hines Realty. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
