Strong storms that swept through the area Sunday afternoon spawned a tornado that destroyed two homes in the Dixie community.
No injures were reported in Escambia County.
Homes in Jay, Fla., and Molino, Fla., were also damaged by the storms, and Prattville was also hit hard by the weather, according to reports.
The cabin home of Buddy Bradley and Jerry Balderree in eastern Escambia County was destroyed by a tornado, but the couple escaped unharmed.
