The Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is issuing a plea to area cooks: send in your recipes.
Chamber officials are beginning the chore of gathering recipes to be published in the upcoming Alabama Blueberry Festival Cookbook.
The annual cookbook began as a tribute to the local blueberry, however, recent cookbooks have included recipes for dishes other than those that feature blueberries.
Those interested in submitting recipes for publication consideration may send entries to: Alabama Blueberry Festival, 1010-B Douglas Ave., Brewton, AL 36426. For additional information, call the Chamber of Commerce office at 867-3224.
Deadline for submission is March 24.
