The Baptist Women's Missionary Union has been meeting for several years to cut and sew turbans for the D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital to give to cancer patients who have lost their hair because of radiation.
Recently, the group connected with Hometown Fabrics to make their latest batch of turbans. Mahaley Johnson, owner of Hometown Fabrics, has joined the group's efforts to find the types of materials needed. In addition, she offered her store as the site of the latest turban workshop.
