Mission Possible: build a house in a week. That goal of the Greater Brewton Habitat for Humanity started with an idea and is ending with the reality this week on Brandenburg Street in East Brewton.
On Saturday morning, more than 150 volunteers were expected to spend a large part of the day at the building site, Rush said.
Helen Reynolds, who was on hand for Saturday's start to the project, is volunteering on her fifth build.
Barbara Thomas is finding our for herself just how thrilling being a volunteer can be.
Volunteering is possible for anyone regardless of skills, Reynolds said.
Reynolds also said volunteering could become habit forming.
Anyone interested in volunteering services, small or large, is invited to contact the GBHFH at the home site or by calling 867-0095.
