Mr. Melvin Rogers Coxwell, 78, died Friday, March 7, 2008. He was a native of East Brewton and a resident of Daphne. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was an active member of The Spanish Fort United Methodist Church and a retired banker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Elizabeth Coxwell, and his parents, James E. and Bettie Coxwell.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Jane (Mitch) Williams; a brother, Mitchell G. Coxwell; and a grandson, Darrell James Harbison.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, at 2 p.m. at The Spanish Fort Untied Methodist Church in Spanish Fort, with Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home of Fairhope directing.
