Law enforcement officials in Washington County were looking for Shane Jordan Friday, and Brewton Police were keeping an eye out for the escapee.
Jordan was arrested by Washington County Sheriff's officials Jan. 28 and charged with theft of property, second degree, Beasley said.
Beasley said Jordan could be headed in any number of directions, including Brewton.
Additional charges against Jordan were being processed Friday, Beasley said.
Brewton Police received a “be on the look out” notice from Washington county Thursday concerning Jordan's escape.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Jordan is asked to contact the Brewton Police Department or other local law enforcement officials.
